Sales

We have lots of new SalesApprenticeship vacancies across the West Midlands 
every week.

Below are the duties that would typically be included in a Sales role.

General Duties: 

​

  • deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face

  • Selling to prospective clients both new and existing

  • respond promptly to customer inquiries

  • handle and resolve customer complaints

  • obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries

  • provide pricing and delivery information

  • perform customer verifications

  • set up new customer accounts

  • process orders, forms, applications and requests

  • organise workflow to meet customer timeframes

  • direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource

  • manage customers' accounts

  • keep records of customer interactions and transactions

  • record details of inquiries, comments and complaints

  • record details of actions taken

  • prepare and distribute customer activity reports

  • maintain customer databases

Training To Be Provided:

​

At the end of your training you will have completed a level 2 Apprenticeship in Sales. You will achieve this by attending a combination of classroom taught modules and on the job training.

You will complete a BTEC in Principles of Sales to gain the knowledge to perform effectively in your job role. Within the workplace you will demonstrate your competence through the performance of tasks achieving an NVQ in Sales also.

 

Functional Skills English and Maths Level 1 may also be undertaken if required, for learners to have the opportunity to improve Literacy and Numeracy skills.
